GHOST ‘MELIORA’ 2LP – DELUXE

LABEL: Loma Vista
VINYL RELEASE DATE: 9/16/2016
ORIGINAL RELEASE DATE: 2015
VARIANT: Deluxe Edition 2LP

Ushering in the Satanic papacy of the dapper Papa Emeritus III, Ghosts third LP, Meliora, is a concept album about the absence of God, but theres plenty to worship on it. Standout cuts like Cirice, From the Pinnacle to the Pit and He Is mash up doomy, slow-burning metal with elements of psychedelia, goth, shock rock and shimmery pop to stunning effect. Having already won famous fans in James Hetfield and Dave Grohl, Ghost werent bona fide arena headliners yet, but they were well on their way.
