Blacklyst- Liars Killers & Master Thieves [Colored Vinyl] (PREORDER)

Lost Realm Records proudly announces the upcoming vinyl and CD release of Liars, Killers & Master Thieves, the full-length album from Chicago’s heavy metal keepers, Blacklyst, set to drop in early 2026. This celebrates a triumphant return for a band rooted in the gritty heart of the ’80s underground metal scene.Formed in 1987, Blacklyst emerged during a fertile era for heavy metal. They burst onto Chicago’s vibrant scene, which was already full of established metal bands but also saw a significant number of new projects on the rise. Their sound – a blistering fusion of classic heavy metal and the muscular aggression of American power metal – featured galloping riffs, soaring vocals, and thunderous rhythms that evoked the genre’s golden age. Their lyrical tales of betrayal and vengeance, social critique, and heavy metal triumph resonate with metal purists regardless of decade.Liars, Killers & Master Thieves, originally released only on cassette in 1991, captures Blacklyst’s unrelenting metal spirit, with songs like Armageddon, Sick Society, and Metal Knight – a testament to the enduring power of true heavy metal. Recorded with meticulous attention to analog warmth, the album is a love letter to fans of traditional metal, blending gritty hooks with intricate solos.Available on vinyl for the first time, Liars, Killers & Master Thieves will be released worldwide in a deluxe limited edition, featuring 4-page insert with official band biography, full lyrics and rare band photos. A must-have for collectors and American metal aficionados. In April 2026, the band will give a special performance at the legendary Keep It True festival in Germany. It will be the band’s first performance in Europe! For fans of: KING DIAMOND, JUDAS PRIEST, AMULANCE, HELSTAR.
