ARCKANUM: Gava Fran Trulen (The Demo Years) LP (black and coloured vinyl)

Includes Demo -93 and Trulen! Available in two colours, both limited to 250 copies.
Demo -93:Unlike the rest of ARCKANUMs history at the time of its inception the band not only consisted of Shamaatae but had two additional members in its ranks too. This line-up recorded the first demo simply entitled Demo -93. This raw recording saw ARCKANUM playing a Death-, Black Metal hybrid rather than the characteristic style the band would go on to be known for.Demo -93 has thus far only been released on tape in very limited copies.Trulen:It was with the second demo Trulen that ARCKANUMs by now sole member Shamaatae would find his characteristic sound. Most of the ingredients that turned the first three albums into highly original, magical records are already present in one way or another on this demo. Trulen is ARCKANUMs first masterpiece!

—

After having gathered experiences in various bands as a drummer Shamaatae founded ARCKANUM out of his desire to combine his deep passion for Metal with dark magic and Satanism in 1992.

The demos and full lengths bearing the ARCKANUM logo that would be released up until 1998 garnered its sole member Shamaatae praise wide and far. Appreciated by adherents of Black Metal for its highly original and atmospheric sound, ARCKANUMs merits aren`t restricted to releasing timeless music. Beginning with Fran marder, multi-talented Shamaatae – by creating unmistakable covers, booklets, calligraphy, drawings and lyrics written in ancient Swedish not only succeeded in establishing a particular aesthetic for ARCKANUM but manifested a whole world or rather an antikosmos unto itself.

All audios are remastered by Patrick W. Engel at Temple of Disharmony.

These releases will come as double-LPs (except Fran Marder) in a gatefold sleeve with UV-varnish on the cover. Including a huge 20-page 12 booklet each title with an in-depth interview (divided into 4 parts) with Shamaatae and many never seen before pictures.
